ABOUT US

We are a small, family run business based in Leigh on Sea, Essex and run by a dedicated ‘husband and wife’ team. We have consciously decided to retain a small-scale building business, so that we can provide the best possible service to our clients and manage all aspects of their build journey ourselves.  We offer a personalised service from conception through to completion and we will be by your side throughout, making the experience stress-free and enjoyable for you.  

 

Dave, at the helm, has a wealth of experience within the building industry, skilled in both project management and execution of small to mid-scale builds.  He is also skilled in bespoke joinery, his first love, and has an excellent eye for fine detail.

Originally from New Zealand, Dave started off his building career focusing on timber-framed new build projects.  On arriving in London, he worked with a reputable extension and loft firm for a number of years before deciding to embark on his own venture working with clients all across London.  He also worked for a bespoke joinery firm in London for a period of time, installing high end, interior fixtures and fittings, including beautifully crafted kitchens, interior panelling and cabinetry.  On meeting, Amy, they decided to settle on the Thames Estuary in Leigh on Sea to start a family (and create their own dream family home).  

 

Amy is a designer and project manager, previously designing kitchens before children and now working alongside Dave and his clients to assist in the smooth running of the business whilst we bring up our young family.  Beech House Build is the product of a lifelong love of design, construction and joinery, along with a passion for helping others to create a family home they love and can ‘grow’ into.  We believe in the power of creating a functional and harmonious home for the positive wellbeing of your family and cannot wait to work with you on your dream build project.

How we work:

 

We welcome enquiries from clients with the earliest of ideas, providing invaluable advice on what you can achieve with your space.  We can work with you to repurpose aspects of your home that may not be working in alignment with your lifestyle or your family’s needs.  Whether you already have plans ready to go, or a vision to work from, we can advise on how to move things along.  

 

Every project starts with an initial site visit and consultation before we can provide you with an estimate, so you can gain great overview of the project.

 

It is so important to feel comfortable with your chosen builder, so we encourage dialogue and welcome lots of communication.  If you choose to work with us, we will then provide you with a quotation and work with you to ensure everything is in place ready for our start date.
